Hi, I’m Sam, your governance organiser extraordinaire!

With over 20 years’ experience in administration, governance, and board support, I help organisations run smoother, make better decisions, and stay fully compliant, all while keeping things calm, clear, and beautifully organised.

My career began in customer service, but I truly found my passion in governance and board administration. For the past decade, I’ve supported schools, trusts, and charities with their governance needs, from preparing and circulating papers, to advising on procedural matters, to capturing accurate and actionable minutes. I genuinely love it, and the people I get to meet.

I’m known for bringing order to complex processes and for creating simple systems that help boards function effectively. Whether it’s keeping your agenda on track, ensuring your policies are up to date, or producing minutes that actually mean something, I take care of the details so you can focus on the bigger picture.

I’m proactive, practical, and curious. I love learning how things work and finding ways to make them work better. Governance may sound formal, but it’s really about people, clarity, and confidence and that’s exactly what I bring to every organisation I support.

When I’m not immersed in agendas and action points, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family in Devon, getting out for some fresh air, or tinkering with a new digital project.
